The 2017 Rural Health Conference - Transitions in Healthcare promises to be the premiere interdisciplinary rural health conference in the region.  The conference will be held on November 15 and 16 at the beautiful Attitash Grand Summit nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  This is a great opportunity for networking and to showcase your work.

Presentations that incorporate the theme of Transitions in Healthcare will be given priority.  When possible proposals should address opportunities, challenges and other important aspects of serving members of our rural New England communities.

We will continue to offer special interest tracts for specific audiences including:
  • oral health, primary care, behavioral health and public health
We are also looking for presentations that focus how organizations are responding and transitioning to the following topics:
  • health equity - eliminating avoidable health inequalities and health disparities
  • value - QI, value to volume, state based efforts, comprehensive health system transformation
  • access to care - work force, affordability and coverage, systems redesign, telehealth, special populations, community based initiatives
  • healthy communities - system generated initiatives and collaboration/partnerships designed to improve population health in communities

** Proposals are due April 15, 2017.

** The proposals will be reviewed by a panel of rural healthcare leaders.  Speakers will be notified by April 30, 2017, if their proposal is accepted.
** The conference registration fee will be waived for speakers, for the day that they are scheduled to present.
